TARKETT ANNOUNCES NEW INSTALLER RELATIONSHIP WITH CERTIFIED FLOORCOVERING INSTALLERS ASSOCIATION

Tarkett USA announced today that all installers who successfully complete Tarkett’s Elite Installer program will be automatically offered the opportunity to join Certified Floorcovering Installers Association. Installers who complete the Tarkett Elite Installer Training now have an opportunity to join a trade organization dedicated to quality through education, says Diane Martel, vice president, marketing, Tarkett Commercial. By completing our program and joining CFI our installers will be backed by both a manufacturer and a trade group committed to excellence.

Upon completing the Tarkett program, installers can submit an application that includes a certificate of completion of the Elite Installer program, as well as a $100 fee to join CFI. The benefits of joining the association include: recognition as a member of the largest representation of flooring installers in the world; a listing in the CFI Directory and on their Web site which is accessed more than 100,000 times per month; and access to educational programs by local chapters that assist in developing members into more qualified craftspeople. CFI also offers direct recommendation of members for work or consultation in their local area.

Tarkett’s Elite Installer training program is as rigorous and thorough as that which we offer for CFI Carpet Certification, says Jim Walker, chief executive officer, CFI. We are pleased to know that Tarkett Elite hard surface installers who join CFI will offer the same quality of workmanship and performance as our carpet installers.
