ALLOC Home Flooring's debuts new designs with custom installation capabilities
Alloc Inc., the originator of the revolutionary mechanical locking system for laminate flooring, will introduce an extensive array of new design offerings to the Alloc Home Flooring line. Six new wood grain plank visuals have been added to increase the diversity of the Alloc Home Flooring's product line. Alloc will introduce four designs in a subcategory of Alloc Home Flooring by the name of Alloc WoodView This unique line of laminate flooring incorporates a slight bevel edge between planks for a look that's truly realistic. The most exciting addition to Alloc Home Flooring is the debut of The Designer Series, an innovative product that will allow for glue-free installations of unique patterns and designs.
Alloc will introduce a total of ten new designs, extending the total offering of Alloc Home Flooring to nineteen. Alloc will satisfy the latest in consumer trends with the launch of specialty designs such as Bamboo, Select Hickory and Traditional Cherry. In addition, three new traditional oak designs including American Oak, Honey Oak and Amber Oak will be introduced. The Alloc Home Flooring product is manufactured right here in the USA and these latest design additions give it a true American flavor with improved features, says Alloc Inc. marketing director Mark Kieckhafer. The gloss level and surface texture have both been increased, providing for an eye-appealing visual that is deeper and more realistic. These new designs will be debuted at Surfaces '03 and featured in the Alloc booth.
Alloc WoodView will be launched as part of the Alloc Home Flooring product lineup with an introductory offering of four designs. Scandinavian Pine, Cottage Pine, Rustic Beech and Tuscany Walnut make up the offering of rustic designs that feature a slight bevel edge at the joint for a unique and realistic appearance. These designs will be made available in single-wide plank visuals measuring 4.7-inch wide and will feature WoodStructure, a natural wood embossment that is identical to real wood. The Alloc WoodView product provides a new dimension in laminate flooring offering realistic natural sensations that the consumer can both see and feel.
The Alloc Home Flooring Designer Series will also be unveiled at Surfaces '03. Alloc will be the first laminate flooring manufacturer to offer the ability to custom design installations with glue-free ease of assembly. The Designer Series will incorporate two separate planks, each machined with the opposite tongue-and-groove configuration. This will allow the end joints to be installed into the long sides of the opposite planks, providing the ability to create custom installations. Unique patterns such as Herringbone designs can now be created and easily installed without the need for adhesive.
Alloc Home Flooring features an improved integral patented mechanical locking system with joint strength increased by more than 30%-inch says Alloc Inc. President Claes Wennerth. The product now features technology that allow for the end joints to be joined together via the angle-angle installation method and without the need of a tapping block, which can easily damage the planks. Alloc Home Flooring can therefore be installed even faster and safer than before. The product is warranted for a period of 25-years and covers joint integrity, stain resistance, fade resistance, wear resistance and water resistance. Alloc Home Flooring features direct-pressure construction with water resistance high-density fiberboard substrate that delivers excellent impact and moisture resistance, as well as dimensional stability. Additionally, the edges of Alloc Home Flooring are wax impregnated to achieve moisture resistance five times better than product without.
