PERGO Wins Award Of Excellence - Top Honor from Floor Covering News at Surfaces 2000

Floor Covering News recently announced the Award of Excellence winners for Surfaces 2000. Pergo, Inc. received the top honor in the laminate category. Floor Covering News and the World Floor Covering Association sponsor the award, which recognizes companies that have consistently demonstrated superior performance in design, service, value and quality.

To qualify for the Award of Excellence, a company had to exhibit at Surfaces, the flooring industry's annual trade show and conference. Top honors were presented in seven categories, including carpet, area rugs, resilient, hardwood, ceramic, laminate, and best overall. Readers of Floor Covering News nominated companies over a six-week period prior to the event. The top five vote getters in each category were then placed on the final ballot. At Surfaces 2000, attendees voted for which companies they felt deserved to be named the best in their respective floor covering categories, as well as best overall.
