International Gift and Decorative Accessories Show returns to the Miami International Merchandise Mart and Radisson Centre

As the largest and most established gift show in Florida, the sold-out, semi-annual Miami International Gift and Decorative Accessories Show returns to the Miami International Merchandise Mart and Radisson Centre, to offer retailers from South Florida, the Caribbean and Latin America a tremendous selection for the holiday and tourist/resort season.

In addition to showcasing the season’s best in new products and trends in more than 500 temporary booths and permanent showrooms, the August show will launch three new money-saving promotions —Goody Bag Giveaway, Super Sunday Specials and Free Freight Monday.

We’ve launched these new programs to give our regional and island retailers even more great reasons to shop the Miami show, explains Donna Guess, executive director, Florida Division, Urban Expositions, managers and producers of the Miami International Gift and Decorative Accessories Show. Not only will they now find some of the industry’s biggest names and innovative newcomers in temporary exhibits and permanent showrooms, they’ll also have the chance to take advantage of great savings that promise to boost their bottom line as they head into the important holiday and tourist seasons.

The new promotions include:

* Goody Bag Giveaway – The first 100 retailers to arrive at the show on Saturday, August 28 and Sunday, August 29 will receive a Miami Gift Show Goody Bag packed with samples and other items from participating exhibitors.

* Super Sunday Specials – A number of exhibitors will be offering specials on Sunday, August 29 only. Retailers should make a point to shop the show on this day to take advantage of discounts, dating and other exclusive offerings valid on orders placed on this day only. A list of participating exhibitors will be available at the show registration desk.

* Free Freight Monday – Many exhibitors will be offering free freight on orders placed on Monday, August 30 only. A complete list of participating exhibitors will be available at the show registration desk.

Additional Show Highlights include:

* Extensive Product Selection Gift industry leaders, as well as countless new entrepreneurial companies will be showcasing the newest introductions and classic best sellers in the Mart’s permanent showrooms. In addition, more than 500 temporary booths will be featured in the Radisson Centre Exhibit Hall.

Product categories include: General Gift, Collectibles, Greeting Cards, Christmas, Licensed Products, Party & Paper Goods, Novelties, Souvenirs, Tabletop, Gourmet, Home Accents, Fine Jewelry, Lighting, Country & Folk, Children’s Products, Holiday & Seasonal, Floral, Bed, Bath & Linen, Apparel, Glassware, Fashion Accessories, Garden Accessories and Resort Merchandise.

* Resort Merchandise Show Temporary Resort Merchandise exhibitors (also located in the Radisson Centre Exhibit Hall) will unveil a wide range of coastal, nautical, resort gift, souvenir and beachwear items.

* Expanded Jewelry & Fashion Accessories Immediate Delivery Section on Third Floor of Merchandise Mart

Retailers will find an expanded selection of jewelry, fashion accessories and other items –available for order-writing and immediate delivery to the trade – on the third floor of the Miami Merchandise Mart. In addition, complimentary coffee and donuts will be served on the third floor each morning and wine and cheese will be served each afternoon.
