Off-Price Specialist Center Introduces New Show for the Home Goods Industry

The Off-Price Specialist Center is proud to announce the launch of a new, first-of-its-kind show that will connect buyers and sellers in the off-price home goods market. The Off-Price Home Goods Show is a branch of the highly-successful Off-Price Specialist Show, the only show in the industry for off-price apparel.

Many off-price apparel retailers have made home goods a significant part of their product offerings, said Bill Jage, CEO of the Off-Price Specialist Center. Because of this demand for home goods, we are launching a new show dedicated to the product needs of home goods retailers.

The exhibitors at the Off-Price Home Goods Show will include promotional-minded manufacturers, importers, jobbers, wholesalers and liquidators of closeouts and excess inventories.

The enormous potential is based on the Off-Price Specialist Center’s successful track record for creating the most unique 'niche' shows. The Off-Price Specialist Show, for instance, was conceived by Jage and other jobbers, who recognized the great demand for a venue devoted exclusively to off-price specialists, who traditionally convened in conjunction with major manufacturer apparel shows. From its inception in 1995, the show has experienced strong continued growth, as evidenced by an offering of three Las Vegas shows per year, a quarterly publication of the Off-Price Apparel magazine and a new conference-focused New York show.

The Off-Price Home Goods Show will occur at the same time as the May Off-Price Specialist Show and in the same convention center – with the attendees already in position, we anticipate the same rapid growth for the Home Goods Show as we saw for the Off-Price Specialist Show, asserts Jage. There is such a direct and positive relationship between the demand for an exclusive off-price home goods venue and the Off-Price Center’s ability to deliver a successful product for them.
